Lead reclamation, sometimes called lead mining, for outdoor shooting range berms and backstops, with the berm restored when we leave. Based in Lebanon, Tennessee. Serving outdoor ranges nationwide.

What we do on outdoor ranges

American Reclamation recovers spent lead from outdoor range berms and backstops, including sand, earth and rubber. We recover whole bullets, the broken pieces most crews leave behind, and lead fines, then sort and weigh all of it.

  • Lead reclamation. Spent bullets pulled from the berm, then sorted and weighed.
  • Lead fines recovery. The fine material conventional screening leaves behind.
  • Berm restoration. Material screened and rebuilt so the berm returns to proper slope.
  • Brass handling. Sorted, processed and paid on its own line of your statement.

Planned before we arrive

We walk your berm, or review the photos you send, then agree on scope, schedule and how you get paid before we show up. All reclaimed metals leave on one truck.

Questions from outdoor range owners

What kinds of outdoor berms do you work on?

Sand, earth and rubber berms and backstops. Tell us what yours is made of, or send photos, and we'll plan from there.

Do you put the berm back?

Yes. Material is sorted, screened and rebuilt so the berm returns to proper slope and goes back to work.

How do we know how much lead came out?

Everything is weighed, and you are welcome to watch. You get photos, weight tickets and one statement.
